Wild Frog Companion
This tea comes from a very remote area on the Chinese-Burma border. The forest around the tea gardens (in 2200 m altitude), which is also a natural reserve area, is home to many rare species, including our frog (Leptobrachium chapaense). The production of tea is therefore strictly organic. Interesting is also volcanic history of this place, which makes the soil rich in certain minerals such as phosphorus, calcium, potassium and magnesium.
Tea liquor of the Wild Frong Companion is orange with strong honey odor and full, sweet, earthy taste.
Black tea is suitable fro people with weak stomach and digestion problems, because it warms the body. It is also beneficial for kidneys and protects veins.
Its main components are theaflavins, which are oxidation derivatives of basic tea polyphenols. They are especially effective in prevention of tumor spreading, can help to absorb harmful compounds in our body resulting from smoking, they can help to strenghten our immunity, protect our cells and DNA against harmful oxidation and also inhibit the activity of certain carcinogenic cells, similarly to catechins in green tea (although in various degree). Theaflavins have also cholesterol lowering effect, and can heighten the level of HDL in our blood.
